I’m sitting at the sky garden now, typing this, even though I have a lot of things to do and not much time to do them. But it’s okay, because I have a lot of things to write about here. I really like it here, when it’s quiet and breezy and when I feel at peace, especially with the chill music that I’m currently playing.
Anyway, let me just write whatever I’ve been wanting to write about since last week, in the order that they occurred to me.
Last Wednesday, I had a spontaneous outing with Niki. We went to watch Ip Man at Vivo City. The show wasn’t spectacular, and neither was the food that we ate at Marche – at least, everything else paled beside the company that I had. New friends are good, but old is gold.
I was reminded of that a few days later, when I had dinner with Xue Qi and Siyun at my dining hall. After the dinner, I walked XueQi to the ERC, where we stood and talked for a while. I haven’t spoken to her in so long, and it felt so good to do so after such a long time. Before we left, we hugged and it just sparked a really warm and fuzzy emotion in my heart that I haven’t felt in a while. It’s like nothing has changed, even though technically, everything has changed.
